We are off and running this year at Lane Rhodesian Ridgebacks!

Madison - DC Willmar Lane Shopn Madison Ave, SC    2007 CHIC Health Tested including OFA Hips, Elbows, MSU Thyroid, CERF, Cardiac and BAER hearing test.  Madison is my pick from Congo's second litter.  She finished her AKC conformation championship in Denton, TX in May, 2006.  She finished her AKC field championship making her a Dual Champion early in 2007.  Madison had puppies in the spring of 2007 - 9 health babies out of Victor - Rajataru's XIV Karat Frozen in Time, JC - 2007 CHIC Tested.  Victor has points in the AKC show ring and on the coursing field.

Tierney  - FC Willmar Strutn Down Tierney Lane, SC, GRC    2007 CHIC Tested - OFA Hips, Elbows, A&M Thyroid, Cardiac, CERF and BAER hearing test.  Tierney passed her first thyroid test, but has since failed a few others through a different lab.  She is spayed and living the life as a house pet.

Aslan - Willmar King of All Kings.  Aslan is out of Congo and Abby - he will be 2 years old in September.  I recently showed him in Dallas, July 2007 to win a 4 point major under an Austrailian judge.  Congrats to owners Jennifer, Todd and Rhyse Bramlett of Denton.  Yeah!

Micah - Willmar Lane Abu Forward Thinking, JC.  Micah lives in Dallas with Lorna Harper.  He is out of Congo and Abby, and also will be 2 this fall.

Casey - Ch. Willmar Timberhills Riverdance (Congo x Abby) owned by Willie and Marilyn Pipes recently finish his AKC conformation title in Houston Texas.  Congratulations!  Casey was shown by handlers Joe & Melissa Turner.  They did a great job of showing him to his title in a short amount of time.  Too bad they won't pay me the money they owe me for working for them, some people just aren't what they seem.

Ade - Willmar Terror of the Jungle (Congo x Abby) owned by Shari Knight and Scott Flaharty.  Ade has been owner handled to his current 10 points, now looking for majors.  Congratulations to Shari for a job well done!

Sydney's babies

Emma - Lane An Affair of the Heart.    Health Testing - CHIC - OFA Cardiac, CERF, MSU Thyroid, BAER,  hips, elbows and AKC DNA.

Emma has 5 points in AKC conformation and multiple reserves from showing sparingly with owner/breeder/handler.  She will be showing more later this year.  She won Best of Breed at the end of May in Shawnee OK from the bred-by exhibitor class.  Unfortunately right now she will not lure course, but we will keep working on that later!

Sheriff - FC Lane All Fired Up, SC.    Health Testing - CHIC - OFA Cardiac, CERF, MSU Thyroid,  BAER, Hips, Elbows and  AKC DNA.

Sheriff has finished his Field Champion title and is currently showing.  He won his first points in May 2007 at the Denton TX shows.  He has such a super personality, he never meets a stranger!  Sheriff won a 4 point major from the Bred by exhibitor class in Houston TX July 2007.  Yeah!  Tons of our friends and Sheriff's fans were ringside cheering him on!  Thanks to all of our friends.

Lula - FC Lane Tallulah Belle, SC.    Health Testing - OFA Cardiac, MSU Thyroid, CERF, BAER, Hips, and AKC DNA.

Lula came back to live in Texas in August.  She's been all over the country traveling and has stayed with many friends.  Lula finally got her JC title in March and in her first trial in Wichita KS won a 3 point major.  Pretty impressive!  She went on to win two more majors in May lure coursing, and finished her AKC FC title in Texas in September - YEAH!  But her even bigger news is her first conformation show in Fort Worth (March 2007) she was shown in the Bred-By Exhibitor class under Judge Paula Nykiel.  She won BOB over multiple specials for a 4 point major and a RRCUS Medallion (Supported show by local RR club TVRRCOT).  Lula won another 5 points in the show ring (2 wins) in San Antonio TX during the July 2007 shows from the Bred by exhibitor class.  Yeah Lula!

Lexis - FC Lane Lexis Rising Star of TX, SC, CGC.  Health Testing - CHIC - OFA Cardiac, MSU Thyroid, CERF, BAER, Hips, Elbows and AKC DNA.

Lexis is our star girl of the litter.  She's finished her field title easily.  Lexis and housemate Nikko have been traveling with breeders Elizabeth and Shawna.  They are quite the travelers!  Nikko finished his JC title in December and is getting running pointers from FC Lexis! Lexis was shown in Houston - her first day in the ring and went Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes under judge Larry Chu.  She did very well in Houston.  Then on to San Antonio to pick up a Reserve Winners Bitch the first day to a major.  Lexis and owner Bianca worked hard and received her Canine Good Citizen title this spring, our first CGC - Congratulations Bianca and Lexis!

Congo - International, Canadian Champion and American Dual Champion Serengeti Tito Congo, SC, JOR.  2007 CHIC

Congo is really enjoying retirement.  He just turned 8 years old and is loving life  Retirement is busier than his show career!  He recently passed his MSU Thyroid test - at 8 years old, giving him his lifetime CHIC - also passing his CERF eye exam this spring.  He sired a litter of 13 (yes that's 13 little ones) with Aura - Rajataru's Sound Investment (who needs 1 single in the AKC show ring to finish her AKC CH title.

Koda - DC Serengeti's National Treasure, SC - a Rogue x Phoebe puppy that Debby Jackson bred is an adopted son.  He went to his first shows and his first road trip ever to Oklahoma City in July.  He won points his first time in the ring and finished the weekend with a major - total points 4.  He went to Houston and picked up a reserve.  In San Antonio he went Reserve again the first day then finished out the weekend on Sunday with another major and Best of Winners for 4 points.  Total 8 points!  His family was there to see him win on Sunday, making it all more special.  Debby Jackson was also there watching!  Koda went on to Kansas City in August to get another major, then showed only 2 weekends in the fall.  We were too busy coursing and finishing his AKC FC title quickly with a BIF to boot (Best in Field).  He went to his first shows of the year last weekend in Wichita, KS to finish his title the first day with a 4 point major making him DC Serengeti's National Treasure, SC.  If my counts are right that's 4 majors in 21 shows.  Go Koda!  Koda is enjoying retirement in Plano and teaching his new sister Sierra (Madison x Victor) all the fun ways to terrorize a family.  He's too much!
