It's the end of 2011 - where does all the time go!
News!
It's been a great year. Congo celebrated his 12th Birthday in May. He is doing fabulous. Checking in on all of our puppies out there, it's fun receiving updates and pictures of all of our extended family. I am looking forward to updating my website with pictures of everyone in the next few months.
We have done a little showing this year with Piper, Outtahand's Put Your Lips Together And Blow (Sheriff x Fable bred by Jim Purdy). She has 10 points including a major in AKC conformation showing in only 5 weekends with me. She is a great dog, and we are so happy she has such a fabulous family down in Austin.
Major, Presley & Debbie are gearing up for their show career's. I am so excited to be able to show my puppies myself. It's so much fun to get to see all of our dog family and friends at the shows and field events.
Jim Purdy and I drove to New Jersey in July for a fabulous trip to visit our friends at Kimani. So much fun - we are very lucky to call them our friends! Emma was bred this trip but unfortunately did not take. We are planning a re-breeding on her next heat cycle. This is a wonderful line breeding back to her father's side of the family. We are very excited about this venture.
Since Emma didn't cooperate, we are excited to do a joint venture with Jim Purdy, Outtahand Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We bred his girl Dizzy, BIF DC Outtahand's Designer Genes, SC, FCH. In October, we took a road trip back to Kimani. This was also a wonderful trip! The driving wasn't as much fun as Jim did not make the trip with me, but thanks to the GPS everytime we take this trip the route is different. The hospitality with everyone involved in Kamp Kimani is unbelieveable! Wow! My sides still hurt from all the laughter! We are expecting puppies in early December.
More updates to come. October, 2011
